Our partners.
At MEPT, we believe that healing happens in connection — with horses, with people, and with the natural world.
Our partnerships are the vital pieces that help us rescue, rehabilitate and educate — creating a kinder, greener community where humans and animals can thrive together.
Chorley Hedgehog Rescue is dedicated to the preservation and rehabilitation of hedgehogs, the enhancement and conservation of their natural habitats and raising public awareness.
Our partnership with Chorley Hedgehog Rescue brings new life to MEPT’s land — quite literally. By offering safe, semi-wild spaces for rehabilitated hedgehogs to be released, we help vulnerable wildlife return to their natural habitat with the best chance of survival. These quiet corners of our fields and hedgerows become havens for healing, biodiversity, and gentle rewilding. It’s a beautiful reminder that our care for animals extends beyond the stable — and that when horses, hedgehogs, and humans share space in nature, everyone benefits.
Flourish & Achieve is a Lancashire-based charity supporting adults with additional needs through person-centred activities, skill-building, and rural day care.
Our partnership with Flourish & Achieve brings adults into the heart of Rainbow’s End, where nature, creativity, and connection come together. Each visit is shaped around the individual — from exploring sensory materials in the stables to meeting our gentle ponies and enjoying quiet moments outdoors. Whether it’s arranging hay, spotting wildlife, or sharing laughter with a four-legged friend, every experience is designed to build confidence, spark joy, and celebrate each person’s unique strengths.
Rainbow Hub is a specialist charity based in Mawdesley, Lancashire, supporting children and young people with physical disabilities and neurological conditions through hands-on therapies, education, and family support.
Our partnership with Rainbow Hub opens the gate to nature, movement, and meaningful connection for children and young people with physical disabilities. Through carefully tailored visits to Jigsaw and Rainbow’s End, participants enjoy sensory-rich experiences with horses, wildlife, and the natural environment — building confidence, coordination, and joy in a setting that’s safe, welcoming, and full of possibility. Together, we create moments of freedom and fun where every child can explore, engage, and thrive outdoors.
Westmorland School is an independent specialist day school in Lancashire, supporting children and young people aged 5–16 with autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Our partnership with Westmorland School creates meaningful opportunities for children and young people with additional needs to connect with nature, animals, and themselves. Through tailored visits to Jigsaw and Rainbow’s End, students experience the calming presence of horses, explore sensory-rich outdoor spaces, and build confidence through gentle, hands-on activities. Together, we nurture curiosity, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of belonging — showing that every child deserves space to grow, express, and thrive.
