Our impact.

At MEPT, impact isn’t measured in numbers alone — it’s felt in quiet moments of connection, in growing confidence, and in the gentle joy of being truly seen.

This page shares some of those stories—snapshots of what happens when compassion, creativity, and connection come together. Because when we walk gently alongside others, the impact ripples far beyond what we can see.

Local love, lifelong change.

From the stables at Jigsaw to the wild edges of Rainbow’s End, our work is rooted in real-life change.

Every workshop, ride, and conversation is shaped by our trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach, creating spaces where children, families, and communities can feel safe, supported, and empowered.

We see it in the child who finds their voice beside a pony, the parent who feels less alone, the volunteer who discovers new purpose, and the community that grows stronger through shared care.

Home to second chances.

Restoring dignity, one hoofbeat at a time.

At Jigsaw Stables, we welcome horses who’ve been written off — labelled “unrideable,” “too damaged,” or simply “too much.” But here, those labels fall away. We see beyond behaviour and history, meeting each horse with patience, respect, and the space to simply be.

Rehabilitation at Jigsaw isn’t about fixing — it’s about listening. We offer gentle routines, quiet companionship, and trauma-informed care that honours each horse’s pace and personality. Some rediscover trust. Some find comfort in stillness. Some never carry a rider again — and that’s perfectly okay.

This is a place where horses are no longer asked to perform, prove, or please. Instead, they’re given time, dignity, and the chance to heal on their own terms.
